GALIA defines Packaging standards (Cardboard packaging, Plastic boxes, wooden pallets, …) used by Automotive industry partners.

These standards meet strict and consistent specifications linked with the automotive logistic processes (ex : palletisation rules, dimensions, …) and security and quality requirements (ex : Resistance to Vertical Compression, product preservation, …)

Standard packages are intended to be distributed as widely as possible by manufacturers and distributors who demonstrate, in collaboration with GALIA, the conformity of their products by submission to homologation tests.

Beyond respecting the rules, GALIA packaging can be identified through specific markings: Reference, Label, Manufacturer number, Logo…
