📢 Highlights from the 2nd Catena-X French Hub Workshop in Paris!

On November 20th, GALIA hosted the 2nd CATENA-X French Hub workshop at the prestigious PFA – Plateforme automobile auditorium in Paris. Held just six months after the inaugural workshop in March, the event brought together key players from the French and German automotive ecosystems to drive collaboration and innovation within the CATENA-X network.

Key Objectives
🌟 Update on Progress: A comprehensive overview of CATENA-X use cases, certified solutions, organizational developments, and internationalization efforts.
🔍 Deep Dives: Focused exploration of two use cases not discussed in March – Demand and Capacity Management and Digital Product Passport (highlighting the Digital Battery Passport).
💡 Early Adopter Value: Sharing insights on benefits for early adopters, including BASF, BMW, and Witte Automotive.
📣 Ecosystem Feedback: Engaging with the French ecosystem, with valuable testimonials from Renault, Stellantis, Volvo AB, Forvia, Valeo, ACC, and Capgemini.

Strong Engagement
👥 91 participants from 40 companies actively contributed, exchanging ideas and raising critical questions. The workshop highlighted the significant progress made within the CATENA-X ecosystem, which is now ready to seamlessly connect companies across the global value chain.

CATENA-X French Hub in Action
Since 2023, the core team of the CATENA-X French Hub has been testing prototypes to validate foundational concepts, paving the way for pre-studies on various use cases. Deployment is now on the horizon, with interest in the following use cases :
– Business Partner Data Management
– Traceability and Quality
– Circularity
– Demand & Capacity Management
– Product Carbon Footprint
– Digital Battery Passport
These use cases are already available via certified applications or by integrating the open-source kit into company environments.
